Pozza di Fassa
In the heart of Fassa Valley , in a sunny position stands Pozza, with Pera and Monzon hamlets.
The town centre is situated in the widest point of the valley where the Avisio river and S. Nicolò stream meet. The town enjoys about this wide territorial extension in a whole valley surrounded by Cima Undici and Dodici: the town has a town hall, post office, pharmacy, medical department, ski school and two churchs.
Interesting tourist centre for the mountain, walks and health admirers, since there is a sulphurous water spring gifted with curative qualities.
From the town you can reach Gardeccia and the Towers of Vajolet, the S. Nicolò Valley and the Monzoni, wonderful places where nature is intact, rich in alpine pastures and rich in refuges where you can admire wonderful views. Trips, walks, rocks, geology, but most of all open spaces and healthy air and in the last years the renewed ski area Buffaure, much appreciated by everyone for its landscapes, for its human.dimension tranquillity that assure to this area a new and constant number of customers, fond of it even in summer because of the quiet and easy leveled promenades along the Avisio river.
Pozza and the Fassa Valley are obviously known for its natural beauties, but also for its history, its traditions and its culture which contribute to distinguish them in the regional panorama and so get a value added for Trentino all.
