In the shade of the Dolomites, Unesco natural patrimony, the Fassa Valley is the only Ladin valley in Trentine. Ladins are a minority of the Ladin ethnic group that has been capable to preserve its language like the natural richness of the valley, surrounded by some famous dolomitic tops: the Roda of Vael, the Catinaccio with the Towers of Vajolet, the Sassolungo, the Sella group, the Pordoi, the Monzoni group, and the queen of the Dolomites, the Marmolada.

The Dolomites: the only mountains in the world for its gelogical structure and the unique beauty of the views, Unesco natural patrimony. The community is “fasciata” (enveloped) by the mountains, “Faxia”, “Fassia”, the Fassa Dolomites are the favourite destination for the free climbers and gives inspitation to ancient legends. At the sunset, the sunlight rays “colours” the rocks, giving origin to the suggestive phenomenon known as “Enrosadira”.
