“I consider myself very lucky to reside in the Val di Fassa: it is a unique place that I will certainly never tire of because it allows me to experience the mountains in all their forms 365 days a year.”

I was born in Bolzano, graduated from the art institute in Pozza di Fassa and then graduated in Verona in Motor Sciences. I got into the mountains thanks to my family and various friends. My interests range over several areas: I am a lifeguard and swimming instructor, a climbing instructor and tracker, and a member of the Alta Val di Fassa Alpine Rescue station. In sport climbing, I have competed with the national youth team in world-class competitions. Later I approached the winter version of climbing, i.e. ice climbing, and here too I started competing first at Italian level and then at world level, arriving to take part in several World Cup stages and several meetings at international level. In the history of mountaineering the Val di Fassa has been a hothouse of great Alpine Guides: to follow this path is a great honor for me.
